Signs of A Good Trainer

They call you before they pick you up, tells you what to expect and asks if you have any ?'s
They lay down ground rules for the truck that are for both of you.
They don’t yell and stay calm in every situation.
They take the time to study what you are doing wrong and try to give you pointers on how to correct it.
They don’t get tired of those ‘dumb” questions.
They look on the training situation as a two-way street.
They get you involved with the management of the truck, e.g. load planning, trip planning, customer and company communications.
